Not just a bible but what looks like a very old family bible.

Thank You, Jesus!

Glad they got their Bible back...but won't attribute it to anyhting but what storms tend to do...levae anomalies in their wake.

A tornado tore up a lot of Altus AFB when I was there. Our squadron's admin was in an old WWII wooden, 2-story building and the conference room was on the top floor. After the hurricane, half the roof was torn off and the outer wall on that half was also gone - you could see the top floor on that side like looking at an opened doll house....the conference table was still where it had been, chairs around it, and even some folders and papers still on it....60 feet away, a 1" sheet of plywood (4' x 8') was stuck end-wise into the trunk of an oak tree...it held my weight when I checked to see how deep it might be in. Sometimes our minds provide the message we want/need to hear. I expect the next tangible sign of God to be when Jesus returns and nobody will miss it...

I once tore down a fire damaged house for the materials. It was a big house so it still had lots of good wood. The family that lived there kind of fell apart after the fire because they lost a baby girl to it. This had happened 17 years prior. The mother happened to stop by to see the place one last time as I was tearing it down. I had found a few things that I didn’t feel right about trashing, including a Bible. I handed it to her and she said it belonged to another daughter and that she had just died a couple years ago.
