The roster of top donors is a who’s who of Kasich’s core Columbus-area backers.

Wolfe Enterprises Chairman John F. Wolfe, whose family until recently owned the Columbus Dispatch, contributed $125,000. His wife Ann also gave $125,000.
John P. McConnell, the chief executive of Columbus-based Worthington Industries and majority owner of the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey franchise, gave $500,000.
Abigail Wexner, a philanthropist whose husband, Leslie Wexner, is the founder of retail giant Limited Brands, contributed $1 million between two donations.
Thomas Rastin, an executive with Mount Vernon’s Ariel Corp, also gave $1 million.
Another $1 million came from Columbus-based Schottenstein Management Co.

Kasich’s other $1 million donor was the Wendt Family Trust in San Francisco. The organization has been linked to Greg Wendt, a key fundraiser who in the past has backed GOP presidential nominees John McCain and Mitt Romney.

I’d bet just about everything I own that the Mailman’s Son will go 3rd Party in 2020.If he does that could be a real problem for DJT just as Nader was for algore in 2000.

(1997) Condit Scrubs Kasich Visit to Fund-Raiser
San Francisco Chronical ^ | March 22 1997 | Marc Sandalow

Democratic Congressman Gary Condit of Modesto has canceled a fund-raiser featuring Republican colleague John Kasich, blaming “narrow- minded zealots” for their “mindless” opposition to the affair.

Kasich’s willingness to appear on behalf of a Democrat had touched off protests among Republicans, with some suggesting that he be stripped of his powerful post as chairman of the House Budget Committee.

Condit, a conservative Democrat and a close friend of Kasich, said he canceled the event after it became clear his colleague was being “vilified by narrow-minded zealots . . . (who) believe the sun rises and sets according to partisan affiliation.”

http://articles.latimes.com/2001/jul/16/news/mn-22909/5

(Condit’s) relations with the Republicans grew so cozy that one Republican House leader, former Ohio Rep. John Kasich, talked openly of campaigning for Condit out in the San Joaquin Valley. Kasich retreated on the idea when GOP leaders took him aside. But the two rock music enthusiasts grew close and attended a concert in 1994 featuring Pearl Jam, where Condit and Kasich waded into a mosh pit of writhing kids. Kasich said later that Condit thought the mob was trying to fight him.

Which immigrants does he prefer — the poverty stricken ones who soak up welfare and won’t learn English, or the Muslims who get radicalized at the Mosque when things get tough?

Send them to John’s mansion/house/governor’s office. After all, he wants them in Ohio, so let him have them in Ohio, on his dime in his house/office.

And I thought that Kucinich was the crazy one!

John Kasich doesn't have the right to ‘invite’ illegals into our country EVEN IF HE'S WILLING TO HAVE THE CITIZEN'S OF OHIO DOUBLE THEIR SCHOOL AND WELFARE BUDGETS TO ACCOMMODATE THEM...
