I have a confession to make. I wasnt sure Hillary Clinton would beat Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.
Sure, I supported Clinton, wanted her to be our president and cried for about three days in the fetal position when she lost but I wasnt entirely shocked that Trump won.
For years I have seen my own Democratic Party support very intelligent candidates who seem a bit too highbrow for mainstream America.
John Kerry was a very eloquent, intelligent and polished speaker who I felt wiped the floor with George W. Bush in all three of their presidential candidate debates.
I also believed Hillary Clinton was more professional and had more political knowledge and intellect than Trump, and I concluded as polls reported most people felt that she won each presidential candidate debate hands down.
But the American people in both of those elections seemed to feel more comfortable voting for a guy theyd like to have a beer with. That was one of the reasons explaining the success of Bill Clinton a Rhodes scholar who played the saxophone and spoke with an Arkansas twang.
Bill Clinton was likeable. For many voters, Trump was as well.
As a Democrat, I not only want a good strong candidate to run against President Trump. I want someone wholl win. That someone, in my opinion, is former Vice President Joe Biden.

Hillary will be running as she is lowered into the grave. I hope she disrupts the Dems process for 2020 and wastes lots of money before foundering.
Biden would be a fantastic nominee for the Dems. Elderly, white, straight male so far as we know, serial groper, nasty, mean-spirited, violent, loose cannon, empty-headed, devoid of accomplishments other than attendance, home state has about 1 electoral vote. He’d be perfect.
ROTFLMAO! Okay he or she - Leslie - is delusional. As for Slow Gropin' Joe, bring him on. Please.
I would not be surprised if Hitlery ran again. Maybe that’s what the upcoming speaking tour is all about.
Joe Biden couldn’t think his way out of a wet paper bag!
Joe Biden couldn’t think his way out of a wet paper bag!
Authored by one of idiotic leftists Fox News inflicts upon us!!!
Cobra, Cobra, Cobra!
Gropin’ Joe, the perfect #metoo candidate.
So lock up your daughter
Lock up your wife
Lock up your back door
And run for your life
I was addressing her “people want to have a beer with him” comment.
Hillary no longer has a security clearance...she cant run
><
Why couldn’t she run without a security clearance?
This must be a spoof article, one of us goofing on the rest of us.
You know who Leslie Marshall is right? She is that ding bat who is married to a doctor and is a radio host..

What in the world does that have to do, with anything?
Having a security clearance, comes after being elected.
Not before.
She will be too old and is not in good health. I dont think she's capable of another campaign. She was barely capable in 2016.
Rocks for brains....very stupid rocks.
Like who, for instance?
if she is, shes doing it by herself...shes nowhere to be seen on the trail...shes the kiss of death for any democrat.
Joe Biden's brows are so low his sphincter has bushy hair on it.
Heh... I wish it worked that way, but it doesn’t.
Someone who runs for office and wins is, apparently, automatically considered to have “passed” a background investigation.
In my view, prospective candidates should be required to pass an FBI background security check prior to being eligible to run. it would weed out at least some of the clowns that infest government. By the time the Clintons rolled around, the standards were thrown out the window. Things did not improve in recent decades.
Incidentally, the writer mentioned “Rhodes Scholar” as something to be ... impressed with. The truth is, at Oxford - in jolly old England, it’s regarded largely as a joke. Seriously. Nobody hardly knows this “over here” of course, we’re just expected to nod our heads and go “oooohhh”. More credentialism.
Cockroaches to be exact.
