There was a weird moment in the most recent episode of NCIS LA. After they had killed the wrong'uns who had stolen a government Robo-cop type suit, Sam and Callen met with the mother in law of recently killed off agent Hidoko. The mother in law was of Japanese decent and she described how her son joined the military because of his pride in his grandfather who was in an internment camp in WW2. All three characters sat around agreeing that internment camps were shameful, and they must not happen again. It was an incredibly bogus "PSA" type of scene, of the sort shows do when they have been ordered to make an anti-drug statement or some such. I assume it was some sort of Anti-Trump homily based on "the wall" which may become de rigueur on all CBS shows now.

I had already declared the episode as "worst episode of NCIS LA ever" before that absurd scene came on. I think a shark may have been jumped.
