I can’t totally disagree with your assertion but from what I’m seeing the competitive races seem to be in many suburban areas of the US. Heck, here in Minnesota we have two competitive races in the ‘burbs - the 2nd and 3rd CD’s.
I’m most concerned about a blue tidal wave coming out of the ‘burbs - a combination of single millennial women and soccer moms (with some henpecked males) all voting Dem in November.
I fear that tidal wave reaching down into legislative and county races here too.
