It was 51 years ago this week when Che was captured and executed. His "revolution" in Bolivia failed miserably, in large part because he couldn't get local support or fight well trained soldiers.
What was Che doing in Bolivia? Why did he disappear in 1965 and then show up in Bolivia? There are lots of potential reasons, as my friend Humberto Fontova wrote in his great book Exposing the Real Che Guevara and the Useful Idiots Who Idolize Him.

It’s my favorite.
No, I think The snuck into the USA and became Bernie!! Ever saw them together?
Not by a long shot.
Until recently, the communists of the world have glossed over the fact that BOTH the National Socialist German Worker’s Party and the Communist Party of Germany (in Weimar, pre-WWII) were BOTH Leftists. Instead they preserved the notion that Hitler and the Nazis were “Right Wing” and “conservative” as well!!
Why? Because the Nazis competed politically with the Communists for control of Weimar Germany during their huge Depression post WWI. Important in the realization of how this happened is that it was the Kaiser Wilhelm who FINANCED (with the advice of his General Staff and Foreign Minister (meaning also his secret military intel people)) the placement of Vladimir Lenin and 50 fellow Communists on a German guarded sealed train, full of gold bullion— into St. Petersburg. In order to “win the war” by destroying Wilhelm’s cousin, Tsar Nicholas— and it didn’t work, and the “blowback” to the losing Germany was a HUGE post WWI Communist uprising (Labor, Ruhr valley, etc), all blamed concurrently (by both Commies and Nazis) on .... Jews.
Since you are a history buff, I’d recommend, on youtube and free, a BBC series called “The Fall of the Eagles”... all the history leading up to WWI, resulting in the end of all the monarchies of Europe, and Russia— and why.
Here are two shortened versions of episode... the one on Wilhelm deciding to “OK” Lenin’s transport out of Switzerland, and his revolution. And the second one— Lenin’s demand for the transport of all of his henchmen (Patrick Stewart as Lenin, chilling). First one 9 minutes, the second one 10 minutes.
Highly recommend watching the entire series— it is excellent, and... depressing.

Che is the left’s favorite mass murderer.
All time best picture of the monster
And, in other news
No doubt Chevy Chase is still mourning Che.
Maybe Che was just a Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid fan. (The outlaws, not the Redford movie)
No, that was location, not condition.
Celebrate Che executed day !
