It’s funny you say this.

I HAVE broken down the mileage I am supposed to be getting and the mileage I AM getting.

It is about 5 miles a gallon off.

I wonder what type of gas they base the mileage on.

And it seems from what you say, that it does matter.

DP0622, The EPA drive cycle may have been changed, it wasn’t real world, you may want to research that system vs. real world numbers, I am sure Consumer Reports and or others have opined as to what we really can expect in the real world.
