If I were PDJT I’d do debates this way.
Each candidate would be in a soundproof booth so they could not hear or reply to the other’s answers.
Then have them asked EXACTLY the same questions.
They have 3 minutes to respond and then the microphone is cut off.
The audience must be able to hear the question being asked.
After 4 identical questions then each candidate would be asked 1 question provided to the moderator from the opposition campaign.
Sounds like a plan. At least it’s far better than what we have now, where far left Democrats posing as mainstream media moderators, skewer the Republican candidates while letting the Democrats have an easy ride. Not sure why we have tolerated this nonsense for so long.
