After Kavanaugh
NRO ^ | 9 Oct 2018 | Kevin Williamson

The Democrats have created an environment that will render ordinary political discourse almost impossible for years to come.

Donald Trump is not on the ballot in November. Senator Dianne Feinstein is.

And so is Feinstein-ism, which is probably more important.

Senator Feinstein is leading her opponent, Kevin de León, by 22 points in the polls. California may be a young and Latino-heavy state, but the Democratic party remains the party of little old sanctimonious white ladies — or, in the case of Robert Francis O’Rourke of Texas, the party of sanctimonious white prep-school toffs who run their political campaigns under pseudo-Hispanic nicknames in the hopes of knocking out an actual Latino senator in order to go sit with that little old sanctimonious white lady who pretends to be a Native American (seriously; Rachel Dolezal wasn’t available?) — and it is unlikely that Senator Feinstein is going down in political defeat, even though de León enjoys the official party endorsement.

But there is an opportunity to strike a blow against Feinsteinism.

Feinsteinism is the sanctimonious-white-lady answer to what Tom Wolfe called “mau-mauing,” the practice by which so-called community organizers extorted money out of local governments in places such as San Francisco (where Senator Feinstein once served as mayor) in the name of civil rights or economic development. Mau-mauing isn’t ordinary politics, and it isn’t protest, either. It is, as Brett Kavanaugh has discovered, more like a softer form of terrorism. “Mau-mauing brought you respect in its cash forms: namely, fear and envy,” Wolfe wrote. “It created a personal, internal fear.”

The Republicans have been handed a golden hammer and should use it often. Remind the mothers that Kavanaugh could have been their son, father, husband, uncle. No one is safe from a lying accusation by a Demon like Fraud.

Ridiculous.
Feinstein is not going to lose in November. It won’t even be close. I’d love to be wrong, but I’m not.

Because, believe it or not, Diane Feinstein is the more moderate of the two candidates. In other words, deLeón is a total wacko.

What would it take to declare Ginsburg unable to fulfill her duties as an associate and put her in a nice retirement facility or to the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time and she’ll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats.

One thing the Kavanaugh Confirmation did was make the Never-Trumpers, Fredocons (most of them anyway), and Moderate Republicans realize one thing- Donald Trump may be loud, obnoxious, rude, and have all the grace of a Bull in a China shop....but the Democrats want them all DEAD!

If I were a soyboy testosterone-less Fredocon, I'm happy President Donald J. Trump is on my side.

all Americans everywhere need to look at the Californcation senate election NOW

two leftist D’s....TweedleDee and TweedleDum....
just like a Soviet Union “election”

and no R party in sight, really

(there are a lot of conservatives...or at least people who would like the choice of voting for one....in CA....but there’s no serious visible effort there to organize an effective R or conservative type political party

all the billionaires fund the commies. and hardly any money for a conservative or even “moderate” choice? go figure!

ps: I said ALL AMERICANS need to look at California’s rigged election system, which usually results in two leftist D’s and often no R on the ballot

everyone is impacted by this California ballot rigging system.

US Senators vote on matters impacting the entire country, not just the late-great state of Californication

Ronald Reagan gets the blame: Amnesty.

yes and no.

the Californication ballot system was rigged a few years ago by the leftist D’s in power, to keep themselves in power...

as for amnesty,
I assume you refer to large scale foreign immigration.
well,
two comments..
1. there’s been precious little outreach by conservatives to immigrants, including those from traditionally conservative cultures who might be interested in a conservative (anti-Abortion, pro-marriage, etc...) agenda or candidates
2. there’s been precious little effort by conservatives or anyone to limit voter fraud.....(and the Californication leftwing ruling elite now has adopted motor voter registration....with almost NO visible checks on citizenship when the state’s DMV automatically registers them all.....
indeed you can google this week’s news about how a large number of illegals have been registered to vote by the state’s totally-overwhelmed DMV (lines go clear around the block just to get in the DMV door, some folks wait all day and when the door closes in front of them they have to return 6am and wait another day trying to get in)
so there’s almost no checking on cirtizenship, and the computers are set to AUTOMATICALLY register customers... and it is rigged to be difficult to opt out, too

now the same leftist commie politicos are trying to lower the vote age (again), this time to 15 or 16

for the same reason.
so there are at least several things that the commie-leftists have or are doing to perpetuate their hold on power

and there’s almost zero visible effort to try to clean this vote rigging game, up

that’s what I was asking about, why is there almost no visible effort to clean things up? you’d think......

“One thing the Kavanaugh Confirmation did was make the Never-Trumpers, Fredocons (most of them anyway), and Moderate Republicans realize one thing...”

We are forgetting the very very important “Indedpendant” vote that swings most elections. A CNN polll had a huge percentage of independents discussed with the Democratic hit job on Kavanaugh.

This may turnout to be a sucker punch they delivered to themselves. We’re already seeing some polls sliding significantly in the GOP favor.

No reason to not try to defeat it...lots of impossible things happened because someone didn’t know they were impossible.

But he would have no Senate seniority, and would not have Feinstein's web of connections.
