Just an election season reminder this was said:
I think banning bump stocks makes a lot of sense. I dont know that we should raise the age for buying an AR-15 I just dont think we should be selling AR-15s in this country.
That weapon was designed for one purpose and one purpose only, to kill people as effectively and as efficiently as possible on the battlefield. Senate candidate Robert Francis Beto ORourke in an interview with CBS News

that is because its first incarnation was used in the “evil” Vietnam War.
I sometimes wonder if that, in fact, is one of the reasons libs hate the weapon so.
Oh wait, I am trying to assign logical reasoning to liberal actions, how silly of me!
Personally, I’ll take the Mini-14 all day, every day rather than the AR-15.

The Springfield with it's five round magazine had a sustained accurate rate of fire of 8-12 rounds per minute during WW1. They did build a few for the air service with 25 round detachable magazines. Probably would have upped the rate of fire to 15 rounds per minute. So in 10 minutes you could put 150 accurate aimed rounds downrange. And that was using iron sights. It's a good thing that libtards don't understand firearms, or we'd all have nerf guns to defend our homes.

The AR15 does serve a purpose, and it’s doing it very well. Mr Robert O’Rourke proves it.
It is designed to scare the ever-living sh!t out of tyrants who look at it. When a Lib sees an AR15 sticker in a truck window I want them to wet themselves.
Because it’s made, bought and practiced with ... yes, to fight other people.
Progressive Communist people.
The AR15 is currently doing it’s job. They don’t care about the Mini14. They care about the AR15. Because it’s a symbol that millions of Americans are ready to say “No” to their communist BS.

Not really - his campaign consists of a bunch of Obama-style psyops and no substance.
