President Trump has accepted Nikki Haley's resignation as UN Ambassador, according to two sources briefed on their conversation. The timing of her departure is still unclear.
What we're hearing: Haley discussed her resignation with Trump last week when she visited him at the White House, these sources said. Her news shocked a number of senior foreign policy officials in the Trump administration.

No way would I trust Graham as AG no matter how much I liked what he did for Justice Kavanaugh at the hearing.
Haley’s talents deserve a much more prestigious and important position than senator.

And that is a good thing. Lindsey seems to be doing fine in recent weeks in the Senate and I hope he stays there. He's already talked about stepping into the chairmanship of the Judiciary Committee if Grassley stepped down and he would be great at it.
The last thing Trump needs is to appoint another US senator/former senator to a high position in his administration. Sessions was a disaster and lead to losing a seat in the already narrow majority. Dan Coats has been unimpressive as DNI.

It's a mystery to me why Nikki Haley can't take some time off and stay home with family if she chooses? That is the word from PDJT and I will take him at face value. No need for all the intrigue in my opinion...
Maybe she’s just burnt out. Plus she can make a lot more in the private sector. And I always keep in mind that she once was an outspoken neverTrumper.
