Lets not forget exploration, a la Columbus or Ernest Shackleton or Neil Armstrong?Maybe Armstrong and Shackleton. The rest like Columbus and Stanley just found lands that indigenous people had discovered as virgin forest thousands of years prior and then were able to transform into still virgin forests over the thousands of years they were there.
