Nice job sticking up for us Northerners, who aren't all bad as some from the South may assume. It is certainly true that the Columbus statue will be standing tall in NYC tomorrow (Columbus Day!) thanks to those who spoke up against de blasio's idiotic desire to take it down out of political correctness. Yet, as you state, many Southern statues came down with barely a whimper.

The Southerners are for the most part great people but some of them tend to do a lot of tough talking about the North. Brings to mind this Onion piece which is of course satire, but good satire, and good satire is rooted in truth.

Here in TN he got around 80 % in 2016

In Pennsylvania Trump got 56% of the white vote

White Southerners are the most socially conservative culture in the nation

More than Utah and Idaho

And yes Oklahoma is southern too
