I’m not a huge deep stater. I actually tend to pop in and out of politics, usually over issues that are downright enraging like the idea of Hillary being elected.
But the Swetnick thing was SUCH a joke, and SO helpful for the GOP - that I honestly have a hard time believing Avenatti and Swetnick don’t have a pile of cash in an offshore account right now.
Seriously.
It tanked the entire “weaponization” of the #MeToo crazies - and idiots like Feinstein (can’t remember who else, but guys like Sheldon Whitehouse took Avenatti’s claims to a new level with his Boof inquisition) made complete fools of themselves by bringing her name into the Senate hearing.
If one believes Ford/Mclean were not lone wolfs in their plot - you might also be open to wondering how the Avenatti/Swetnick thing really developed. My thinking:
1- the claims are ludicrous on their face. Too many parties, she was too old, going back for 10th gang rape party only to be raped yourself, etc
2- it’s as if the author wanted these claims to be stupid and obviously false enough that it wouldn’t seriously hurt Kavanaugh
3- they were just believable enough for Kav degenerate lefties and Kav haters to be picked up by EVERY media outlet
4- they were easy to strike down - the woman’s past was NOT scrubbed - her ex bf easy to find, the lawsuit in Oregon that proves what a pycho she is was also easy to find
Doesn’t all of this seem just a little too perfect? It outraged people like Susan Collins. Ask yourself this, what are the chances that a woman would just come forward to perjure herself with garbage like this, is she WASN’T being paid in some capacity? And Avenatti could now lose his license or worse.
My lawyer hub thinks I’m a bit nuts, but I’m convinced this was a counter intl op against the Ford garbage.
