The cost of coming forward with her allegations against Brett Kavanaugh was enormous. But it won’t be in vain.

Christine Blasey Ford said she asked herself that question this summer, when she decided not to come forward publicly to say that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her when they were in high school.
She ultimately reversed her decision, speaking to the Washington Post about her allegations (which Kavanaugh denied) and then testifying at a hearing last week. But throughout that process, her question to herself has resonated. After the hearing, Katie McDonough of Jezebel wrote of “the sensation of Ford receding from view — her hours of testimony, another woman publicly reopening wounds out of a sense of responsibility and a fragile belief that it might actually mean something — obliterated by the rage of powerful men.”
“Ford,” McDonough wrote, “had predicted that future and called it by its name: annihilation.”

Ford lie under oath several times. The Republican questioner very gently led Ford into several perjury traps and implicated her “handlers” at the same time.
Well, the good news is that they put the Pelosi wrap-up smear out there for all to see in full force attempting to claim that there is no presumption of innocence. So, we can start off my denouncing all democratic smear jobs as smear jobs from now on out.
Against that we have to put the enormous cost of bringing the business of the country to a halt for a couple of weeks while he citizens fought against the left's efforts to extinguish due process rights. K was not a pawn, but maybe an knight, but in a much bigger war to rescue the US Constitution. We had to protect him to protect ourselves.
The cost to the country was huge. The penalties for perjury, obstruction, suborning perjury, conspiracy, etc.. Well we will see what the costs are.

After the Pelosi confession on "merchandising" the "wrap-up smear" we don't believe anything coming out of the mouths of the left ever again. The earth could stop in it's course through the heavens and if a leftist announced it I would consider it just another smear.

She sent here letter to her Congresswoman and Senator before Trump formally nominated him as it was almost certain in the last week he was the nominee. She was preparing to do this because he was named as likely. Then the Democrats and the WaPo (who also had it) both held it to make better chaos and theater.
I bet there were smears placed with various ‘news’ organizations ready to go for each of the 4 judges in the short list.
It was just a matter of pushing the one related to the actual nominee. That would explain the ‘but she made the claim before Brett was even nominated’ excuse.
Someone should do a little investigative work into that.

You have to remember, she had had a stint as a leftist darling when she put together her “research” about the “joys” of the abortions pill. She was creating crap like this her whole life.
I support the FBI interviewing Ms Blasey Ford as long as each of her personalities is given equal time ..
I also support the FBI taking custody of the polygraph video, therapist notes, prior records of her mental condition, and interviewing all the character witnessses that came forward for Ford..including her family

I imagine that Ford went to the Women against Trump march with her pussy hat and she became obsessed with hatred towards him. If there are images of her at that march, they have been scrubbed. However, another march, the "Science March", shows her wearing a brain hat in keeping with the theme of the march:
When Trump released a new list of prospective Supreme Court Justice nominees in November of 2017, she notices Brett Kavanaugh's name on the list. She remembered his name from the social exchanges her school had with Georgetown Prep and the notoriety of members of the football team. It is then that Ford vows to sabotage Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court if he ever gets nominated. Hence, she concocts this story (which has the later added signature and date) as her effort to oppose Trump:
