The CNN headline I never thought I’d see

A friend writes:

Here’s a CNN headline and news story I never thought I’d see:

President Donald Trump’s Winning Streak

(CNN)—Donald Trump may have never had a better time being President.

Only a re-election party on the night of November 3, 2020, could possibly offer the same vindication for America’s most unconventional commander in chief as the 36 hours in which two foundational strands of his political career are combining in a sudden burst of history. . .

There is more evidence than the soon-to-be reshaped Supreme Court and the roaring economy to make a case that Trump is building a substantial presidency that in many ways looks like a historic pivot point, despite its extremely controversial nature.

*snip*

[I]t’s also no longer possible to credibly argue — despite the distracting blizzard of controversy, busted decorum and staff chaos constantly lashing Washington — that there is not something significant taking place that is changing the political and economic character of the nation itself.

I don’t think they can quite believe (or comprehend) that the have thrown everything at Trump and he is still winning.

“Is this real?”

It’s as real as anything on the #FakeNewsNetwork - real in the sense that they posted it.

The only “controversial nature” I see is coming entirely from the left and the Rino’s.
Who seem to have forgot we are a Constitutional Republic?
And the fourth rail is not a propagandist arm of Socialist Democrats.

Leftists such as those at CNN, only tell the truth to set up their next lie, ploy, or double cross.

Who cares if they tell a truism every so often. They will eventually morph it to meet their ends in their never ending propaganda war against the people of the United States.

They believed all the lies of the Leftist professors, pundits, and politicians that conservatives in this country are inferior and are incapable of beating the Leftists in the struggle for power. They forgot one thing. Conservatives believe “If God is for us, who can be against us?” And God, who is in charge of history, is so good.

It's ironic that it was Trump, a late convert to conservatism -- not authentic Republicans like President Ronald Reagan, both Bush presidents and beaten GOP nominees Mitt Romney and John McCain -- who finally delivered the Supreme Court majority.

Sometimes “converts” make the most reliable proponents of what they’ve been converted to.

Freepers, I volunteered for my local congress persons campaign last night. Please do the same!! I know we are all busy living life and being normal. Put differently, we aren’t paid Soros drones. But given what we have seen the last few weeks, we cannot afford to allow the democrats to use the House as a vehicle for totalitarianism.

Any President with the last name “Bush” would have caved and withdrawn the nomination.

Trump is building a substantial presidency that in many ways looks like a historic pivot point, despite its extremely controversial nature.

How could a historic pivot point not be controversial?

the Trump administration is engineering significant changes at home and abroad that often represent sharp revisions of direction from traditional American positions.

Some traditional American positions need changing. Mostly, though, I see Trump reinforcing traditional American positions. Like, for example, respect for law, fair and equal justice, America first, and the all time favorite MAGA.

Jeb would have nominated a Mexican transvestite MS-13 member.
