When I read anything from Mencken, Chesterton, CS Lewis, Sir Edmund Burke, George Washington, it makes me realize how crass and poorly educated today’s rulers are in comparison. It seems the more formal education expands, the more the quality of education declines.

BTW, I listened to the Kansas rally today, and you’re right: it was stupendous. Trump was in high form — so funny and dead on with his attacks of the left.
Deplorables have a hard time keeping up with our great leader. Glad to hear he also praised Lindsey Graham, O’Connell, and Grassley.
He skewered “Da Nang Dick” big time. Spent 3 or 4 minutes attacking Blumenthal. It was hilarious and the crowd was with him the whole time.
