The Democrats are not rational.
That does not mean it should not be done. Put each one in jail but due to their irrationality there will always be another person willing to lie for their ideology
I wouldn’t expect a difference would be made to the Democrats. It is the people like Ford, who are willing to lie (in return for what reward?) on behalf of the leftist narrative that I expect would be most affected. If they are offered $500,000 to promote a specific lie, but they know they could go to jail for it... they might think twice before taking that deal.
I’m trying to remember the price that Gloria Allred offered to pay to get women to tell stories about Roy Moore to prevent his election. It was a pretty hefty sum.
