According to an on-air report by CNN, the FBI report on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is at least 1,000 pages long.
Phil Mattingly, CNNs congressional correspondent, said on Thursday that the FBIs report was incredibly lengthy and that they spent a significant amount of time interviewing Kavanaughs high school friend Mark Judge.
As a couple of people have noted, the report is, were told, more than 1,000 pages long, Mattingly reported. One of the key issues for Senators Flake and Collins has been an interview with Mark Judge.
That is one of the primary reasons this FBI investigation was launched in the first place, he explained. We are told that interview occurred and that it was three hours long.
Several Senate Democrats are claiming that the investigation was not comprehensive, including Hawaii Sen. Masie Hirono, who called it a farce.
We know of so many people, which I think you reported yourself, that a lot of people would like to have been interviewed by the FBI but have not been contacted, Hirono told MSNBCs Rachel Maddow. Even with a short time frame, I was under the expectation, I certainly had the expectation that the FBI would provide the resources necessary to do a complete job, so that its not some kind of a farce investigation.
On Monday, President Donald Trump said he wanted the FBI to be able to interview whoever it wanted for the investigation.
It contains a lot of raw and private information. Going forward people have to know if they give information on a candidate it will be private.
I think the FBI should do a sipummary though. Mark Judge, PJ, and all the others can release information if they want
Oh no. They were fully formed ice cubes. I told my friends she was just trying to get my attention. In reality they were being rocketed at me in anger.
She could never get on the Supreme Court. Really bad attitude.
Thank you.
1000 Pages x 100 Senators x 1 minute per page = about 70 days 24/7. They may have to go with more than one copy.
Pelosi and ilk have to reject Kavanaugh to find out whats in the FBI report.
Without the FBI doing the same thing in the Clinton email investigation and then exonerating her so she could go on to lose the election anyway, she might have already been facing prison time for her crimes instead of going on her Sour Grapes book tour.
What's good for the goose, is good for the gander.
“To get to 1000 pages, they would have had to literally start typing the day the investigation opened.”

Not at all. The investigation’s research sections are handled simultaneously by different teams, written up the same way and collated. Happens in complex litigation all the time.
More than likely, the 1000 page figure includes transcripts of Interviews, supporting documents, and other evidence. All that stuff could easily be 1000 pages.

Yup. ‘Appendices’. Wonderful things to support a summary.
Bizarre. How much of that is brain rot senility, and how much the situation I wonder?
