Flake "still having issues": Twitter report
Twitter ^ | 10/04/18 | Elaina Plott

Posted on 10/04/2018 12:26:53 PM PDT by Behind Liberal Lines

I’m told by source with direct knowledge that Flake is “still having issues” and that some colleagues are trying to “walk him through them.” Sen Coons tells me just now that Flake reached out to him and asked if they could speak at length later.

How the hell would that work as a lobbyist without access to the party running the Senate?

“Oh my! What happens if Flakey votes no, but Kavanaugh still becomes a Justice?”

He can kiss any lobbyist job that someone in Washington promised him goodbye.

Flake is suffering from terminal flibbets of the blowhole, and should see a specialist right away. It could be contagious.

Romney has no good name. He threw the election to Obama. He’s a first class betrayer. He threw the senate election to Ted Kennedy in 1994, trying to outliberal the old liberal in the last debate. Romney doesn’t do well in debates. He’s like a flu that can’t be eradicated.

That's a far cry from the Liberal Lion McCain's most recent transgressions.

He was never a yes vote to begin with. They will have to win with Collins and the Cowski. Flake wants to go out as his hero McCain would, as a backstabbing POS. How did Arizona manage to produce two of the biggest backstabbing aholes to ever claim to be Republicans, much less conservatives and amazingly at the same time!

Since he is not running again McConnell should make it clear to him if you return as a lobbyist you will persona-non-grata to the Republicans in the senate. If you lobby for a position we will not be doing business with that lobbying firm and it will hurt their position.

I thought they were banned from working as lobbyists for a certain length of time thanks to Donaldus?

Senators are strange creatures. He would still have access to many Republican senators he had made friends with during his tenure.Just because the voters would throw him out does not mean senators in his caucus would do so.Market himself as a guy with access to both sides for a big payday.

Too many afflicted with Pavlovian Conditioned Response and a complete lack of critical thinking or analytical skills. They waste too much bandwidth reacting to fake news and leftist propaganda.

This is what I am trying to understand. The Senators from far more competitive states are more reliable.

Any good that may come out of this is does not equal to what the democrats have done to this country. It may have energized the right, yes. It has discredited the left - yes. At what cost? It’s a travesty not only to the Kavanaugh’s, but to our country. I’m thoroughly disgusted on so many levels.
