She wasn't cross examined. Every fantastic claim she made went unchallenged. The gutless senators didn't lay a glove on her. My first thought was that if she'd lie about flying why wouldn't she just as easily lie about anything?

Did you read prosecutor Mitchell’s memo? I think Ballsy Ford was challenged in a very effective way, perhaps the only sane and rational way under the circumstances. Her credibility is in shreds as a result.

The alternative was to have a number of angry GOP senators yelling at her, with her breaking down in tears, and the resulting public relations nightmare.

If this were truly Machiavellian I would say Trump and Flake were working together to ensure the FBI had another week to refute the charges Ford threw out on the table in her hearing. If the vote had been held last Friday, as planned, Kav might have gone down in flames because dim bulb weak sisters couldn’t see Ford’s obvious lies. Now, half a week beyond the hearing, we are finally getting to the truth of Ford’s weapons-grade deception.

It would explain Flake’s big turnaround at the last moment. It would explain how those 2 women were caught on camera accosting Flake on the elevator (Flake actually used them instead of vice versa). It would explain why the FBI isn’t asking Ford any additional questions. It would also explain Trump’s tweets poking fun of Ford (he knew she was toast).

In retrospect this extra week was totally necessary. If you think of Roy Moore, his reputation is forever tarnished because the false accusations weren’t successfully refuted. If Kav was voted in Friday, Ford would have blended back into the woodwork and we’d never hear from her again. However, the accusation itself would live on forever (like Anita Hill). Now, when he is voted in, only the most moonbat insane shrews will still say Ford is credible and must be believed.

I’ll be waiting for Alyssa Milano to apologize for falsely accusing Kavinaugh. /sarc

Maybe a more likely scenario is that Trump and Grassley were working together and put the idea in Flake’s ear in the first place. I guess we’ll have to wait for the book.

There’s a reason the FBI didn’t need to interview her after the hearing. Just sayin’
