There is nothing you can do to ensure Casey is defeated, the GOP isn’t trying to defeat him... The fact you refuse to accept it, is what is disturbing and its WHY the GOP is utterly ineffective (for the most part) in these states.
Ads like this are to motivate the base... that’s it, not win elections. Its clear the GOPe has no intention of attempting to win ANY of the senate races in the upper midwest... All it is trying to do is keep its base somewhat engage so they don’t wind up with a down ballot massacre.
I am not Trolling, I am trying to get the GOP ecosphere and its supporters to wake up and realize they are being betrayed. Those who are supposed to be trying to win, are doing nothing to advance the cause... NOTHING.
Pointing out, and suggesting alternatives, which I have done here and other places is not being negative. Its being blunt, and honest. The GOP needs to stop with this small ball messaging and get on offering the voters in these states a REASON to vote FOR them, by telling them what they will do for them... not name calling the other side...
The Dominoes are set about as perfectly as they could be to not just defeat Casey, but thanks to the Kavanaugh fiasco, defeat D senators across the upper midwest.. yet, what’s going on? Every one of them is down 11-18 points except for MN.... Grass Roots can’t save the party from its own incompetence.
The GOP has decided that its not going to try to compete here.. its obvious. Perhaps as it becomes obvious that the Red State Dems are toast, they may redirect resources here, but they are running out of time... and even if they do spend MILLIONS here, if its on messaging like this ad, it won’t do jack... over 5 Million was pumped into PA18, to basically fund this exact type of ad, and they lost.... All the money in the world, pushing bad marketing, doesn’t result in sales.
There is no excuse for the fact that they are facing a complete slaughter up here, other than the messaging being used is garbage.. and they flat out refuse to accept it... either that, or as I have said they know its crap, but their only goal is to just keep the base engaged to minimize down ballot slaughter as well... or they intentionally are trying to lose....
You don’t have to like that I speak the truth, but if you want yes men, you wind up with campaigns like what are going on across the upper midwest, where you are getting wholesale slaughtered.
