I don't think he should have withdrawn, but I understand why. He had been teaching this class for 10 years. Shame.

We need to start paying women to allege rape by all the Harvard undergrads.
Let them reap the rewards of guilt by accusation.

He’ll be busy on The SCOTUS, if Flake, Murkowski and Collins have even a small brain to understand what has happened here and the importance of their yes vote to confirm.

Would his seat on the SC have prevented such a teaching position anyway???

I think we need more strict punishments for false accusations.
Women are now the real predators.

While I completely understand why he did it, I’m not sure he should have done this. Its clear that his students liked and respected him prior to this mess. The more political ones will avoid him or protest him. But I suspect that many would not. University students aren’t all lunatics. Many would jump at the chance to be taught by someone like him.

I hope he or someone brings lawsuits against the false accusers. They, and the democratic leadership, should pay for what they have done to a good man. This is unacceptable.

It’s a good sign, maybe. Once on the Supreme Court, he’ll not have the time, at least for a while, to do much teaching. I’m just guessing. I have no real idea. My memory says other supremes have had outside engagements, but I don’t know if they were regular, continuing, and contractual.

Would his seat on the SC have prevented such a teaching position anyway??? Not sure, but it didn't seem like he was planning on withdrawing prior to the hearings. Any other justices currently teach?

I think the Left's main strategy has been to chase Kavanaugh away. Make him withdraw his nomination to the Supreme Court, and convince him to run back to Harvard and just teach his courses as he has done for 10 years.
I think Kavanaugh is finding ways to tell them: "I'm not going anywhere. I am not a quitter."
This makes it awkward for Democrats running for re-election.

Although I’m not a lawyer, I would think Mrs. Kavanaugh has standing to bring a slander/defamation suit on behalf of her 10-yr-old daughter against that disgusting “cartoonist” who drew the one of her praying about her dad being a sexual predator. Sue the cartoonist and anyone who published that garbage. I doubt that freedom of the press extends to slandering 10-yr-olds.

I completely understand. Being a SUPREME COURT JUSTICE wouldn’t allow the time to commit to the students.

Would his seat on the SC have prevented such a teaching position anyway???I don't see why. He's currently serving on the DC District Court of Appeals. I don't know their calendar but SCOTUS is only in session from Oct to June...wish I could find a gig like that.
