As recently as 2008, a few states had sexual assault and rape listed as capital crimes - especially if the victim was under 18. I’m all for it.

Knowingly making a false accusation regarding a capital crime should carry the death penalty as well

I respectfully disagree.

This is a political hit job on Kavanaugh. Period. The lawyers (Democrat activists) themselves are evidence of that. I don’t believe either Ford’s story regarding Kavanaugh or that she, herself a Dem activist, is not politically motivated. I do believe she was likely sexually assaulted but not by Kavanaugh. There were other convenient circumstances that enabled transferring her assault into an invented scenario for the attack on Kavanaugh. Her lack of memory is three-fold: the Kavanaugh attack never happened so she has no visual memory to refer to, just the story she’s written for this hit job and the vagueness & lack of detail is an attempt to avoid perjury. It also keeps Kavanaugh from being able to alibi himself since he cannot point to a specific date on his calendar & say ‘here is my evidence I was not there’. Once Ford is no longer politically useful, she’ll be thrown out like a sack of garbage.

I’ve come to this opinion via Rachel Mitchell’s memo, Margo Cleveland’s 2 threads (it appears she is the one who broke this story, originally) & viewing the body expert analysis of Ford. Margo’s analysis is particularly telling - Ford changes her story numerous times (also noted by Mitchell) to keep Kavanaugh from being able to refute her story as things unfold - it’s pretty telling. It’s also obvious the Mark Judge book was used to aid her in coming up with this story.

I think she is a sociopath who knows damn well she’s inventing a complete fiction. If she didn’t there would have been no reason to go over-the-top in presenting herself as a victim, the way she has.

That she is a baldfaced liar is beyond dispute after the “afraid to fly” gambit.

She belongs in jail for a long time as do all her co-conspirators. This was a serious crime and she is a criminal.
