Companies headquartered in California can no longer have all-male boards.
That's according to a new law, enacted Sunday, which requires publicly traded firms in the state to place at least one woman on their board of directors by the end of 2019 or face a penalty. It also requires companies with five directors to add two women

We’ve already arrived at that point (equal outcomes) in an unofficial way; woe to any company that doesn’t show diversity at all levels. The courts will sue them for millions (this happened in the financial sector years ago), and so they’ll hire masses of tokens and pay out their tithes to liberal activist groups as penance.
The simple truth is you can’t hand out meaningless, unearned degrees forever without the recipients/beneficiaries asking why they aren’t making the same money as those who truly earned them. One protection is further testing/certification; is a token can’t pass the bar exam, they end up working as a Wal-Mart cashier.
Affirmative action is blatantly unconstitutional, yet it remains the law of the land - and its blight in the public sector is now widespread in the private sector as well. If you don’t have the proper ethnic & gender representation at all levels deemed necessary by the government, you lose millions. This law just moved that “level” up a notch - and ethnics will follow. In fact, many blacktivists resent including white women in any such programs, rightly claiming they’ve never been subjected to codified discrimination like Jim Crow/segregation. FWIW, don’t be surprised if these seats go to Asian women; they’re flooding the financial sector here in the NYC metro area.
Just have on, possibly two board members identify as a masculine presenting transgender lesbian. Up the compensation if appropriate.
When the state comes knocking, scream loudly about transphobia and misogyny.
True fascism.
Good point. The men only have to say they are women on the days the the boards meet and everything is good.
Unconstitutional.
Who defines what is a woman? How does the state verify what someone identifies as?
Illegal and unconstitutional. The goal is complete government control of businesses (communism).
Board members of publicly traded companies are voted in by shareholders, yes?
start the equal rights lawsuits aimed at all women board of directors
(short straw wins...un, er, loses!)
We’ve already seen how having the token black employee has failed. Now, it’s the token female. Next, it’ll be the token LGBTWHATEVER and after the token brown eyed followed by the token blond followed by the token dwarf and cat and ficus plant.
You nailed it. It’s a secular form of tithing. Excellent observation. Love to hear Milo Y. wax on about that.
So if a company has an all-woman board, will they be required to hire a man?
So when do the job postings for State Vagina Inspector go up?
I would gladly state that I identify as a woman in exchange for a six-figure no-show job.
Changing my Freeper Handle to Haiku Gal immediately...
Buggery and abortion are rights but a company can’t choose whoever it wants on its board of directors?
1. New term for incompetent employee = “California Hire”
2. Does this mean all female boards must have one male?
3. What about the 58 genders on facebook? is this genetic based or mating behavior based?
This is pitifully easy to get around. Just have one of the males self-identify as “female” at each board meeting, to remain in effect until the next meeting - and have it recorded in the board meeting’s minutes. Next meeting, it’s some other guy’s turn.
Wonder if they except the trannies?.
