In 2002 or 2003 I attended an unclassified Signal Command briefing in Brussels Belgium where a US One Star and GS15 from the States explained that we would be attacked by the Chinese within 20 years. They told us the US Army was getting four repositories for the complete backup of the Library of Congress, World Banking data and all know knowledge; that the Navy 4; AF 4, Intel Agencies 3 and other agencies of US Gov a few more; all EMP Proof, all independent, all spread out to avoid nuclear attack. They described the EMP Proofing as an analogy to putting layers of "chain-link fence electrically charged" over the installations underground.

The general stated that we would blind China and anyone else involved on an attack of the USA and that specifically China was to sued for peace which would happen within weeks; that the country was going to be divided up into 18-19 different States nonaligned and that those plans were essentially a done deal. China is screwed if they don't win and if they are blinded, and the US Military makes surgical strikes throughout their military and water, elec, food distribution, to include a total destruction of their capacity to manufacture electronics that the peace would be permanent - leaving the US with a stockpile of electronics to rev up dominance in manufacturing. Far Fetched I think not.

Bottom Line it was going to be Signal that wins this war.

The breakup of the Chinese empire into multiple countries would be excellent for peace in the Orient. The only question is who would enforce the division.
