Chevy Pickup gas tanks were in a bad location

Does not make any difference!

If you try to run that E85 crap, it will puke big time.

Saddle tanks or not.

And remember before they went under the vehichle, ALL pickups had the tanks right behind the seat. The filler necks were right by the driver’s door handle. Then there was the Pinto where the gas tank top WAS the floor of the trunk. And no one wanted to say that the Mustangs were built exactly the same way. We had a ‘65 Mustang and when you picked up the trunk mat, there was the tank.
