They think they can impeach Trump and nothing will happen to them. They are mistaken in that regard.
As with the Mueller investigation this will be an “investigation” in search of a crime.
The search and destroy mission against Kavanaugh is still ongoing.

I disagree. Congress asked for ANOTHER supplemental investigation with a week limitation and the President authorized it.
Now if the President tried to stop it early that’d be an issue (obstruction again) but the limitation is “law” so the one week and that’s it isn’t illegal or actionable.
IF the FBI finds something then they merely present the facts as they found them to the congress and congress decides what to do then.
I don’t see this as impeachment grounds at all.
They’ve got much better fodder with the Mueller investigation and the stupid judge that just allowed the case to go forward where Trump’s hotels, worldwide are political kickbacks whenever governments and heads of state stay there and that’s not allowed. Which is BS on its face.

I don't know how many trump cards the POTUS holds, but I fully expect he will use what's required when needed to defeat Deep State's machinations.

I don’t think Trump has a choice. The Senate confirmation is being held hostage by Flake, Collins and Murkowski. He either goes along with the FBI investigation farce, or he has to nominate someone else.
Trump conceded to the turncoat RINOs who are the ones that conceded to the Dems...the headline is based on a false meme.
Most of us believe the FBI investigation will be a sham .....BUT.....the resultant FBI report is handed off to Trump.

Democrats are irreversibly stupid if they think Trump will allow the FBI to set the terms for Kav’s confirmation.

Assuming Kavanaugh is ultimately confirmed I think this works to the advatage of the GOP. The longer this goes on the deeper a hole the Dems will dig for themselves.

At this point, it is what it is. Thursday morning, I thought Kav was toast. Thursday afternoon, I thought he might sail to confirmation on R votes (I don’t expect a single Dem vote). Yesterday morning, the turd flinging Dem baboons were at it again - they NEVER give up. In the afternoon, Flakey the backstabber had, at a minimum, temporarily derailed the Kav confirmation. I went for an 8 mile walk to blow off the sick/headache stress.
As I said, it is what it is. For sure, everyone who can should get out and vote R down the line, even if you have to hold your nose. A “stinky” R is NOT A DEM when it comes to holding majorities and it is a condition of survival for the country & the ‘right’ to hold majorities on committees, retain leadership, and avoid impeachment (attempts or actual) of Trump & Kav, if he does get confirmed. The thought of Maxine Waters running the finance committee or FeinSwine running judiciary should make everyone’s blood run cold. Now is not the time to “teach the Repubs a lesson” because of the three that are causing an issue. If we have more “R”s, then 1, 2 or 3 Senators like Flake, Murkowski & Collins cannot so easily hold the Trump agenda hostage, as is going on now. My 2 cents & time for another de-stressing walk. Saw a video with Dan Bongino yesterday - he said he was “exhausted” so I don’t feel like such a wimp with stress symptoms.

I think that the easiest way to get to Trump is thru Ivanka. I think that she is a total snowflake who is scared by all of this “mean” stuff. So if somebody is whispering in her ear, and she goes sobbing to daddy, all bets are off. That’s just a totally wild guess on my part though.
