This whole report sounds weird to me..

Flake just voted to recommend approval of the judge...

but he’s going to vote him down on the floor vote? I don’t think so...

Sounds like the Dems trying to bribe another delay... But at this point what for? They know they aren’t stopping the confirmation, so it must be they don’t want him on the court for the start of Term... which means this is about a case or case that is on the early docket this term...

Because if Kavanaugh isn’t seated when the term starts he won’t vote on the cases heard before he is seated...

So... WHAT IS ON THE COURTS DOCKET THIS TERM???

We can’t know all that was granted cert. But I bet that Hawaii 2nd Amendment case is one of them.

Re 2018 Scotus Docket

I do not know what cases are up for consideration but in terms of granting certiorari (Sp?) it takes 4 votes - Scotus
is split 4 - 4 so even if its a week before Judge Kavanaugh is seated if the conservatives want a case they can accept it.

Just my understanding - do not try this at home. ;-)
