I’m a bit more optimistic on the vote now.
First is to get Flakey to vote yes in Committee.
I “think” Collins wants to support Kav because she thinks he won’t overturn Roe. She won’t have the same confidence in Amy Barrett who could be the replacement if Kav goes down.
Manchin is no Zell Miller, he is still to the left of even Collins and Murkowski. Corker and Flake may be bitter and petulant Never Trumpers, but they look like Genghis Khan compared to Joe. Ignore his reputation and look at how he votes. The only way he votes for confirmation is with Schumer's permission.
Let the debate start Saturday morning, and continue without pause until Sunday. Vote Sunday afternoon, and seat him Monday.
