Kavanaugh didn’t insist that the phone interview transcripts be released. He was asked if he minded if they were and he said that he did not mind.
If Kavanaugh was the predator the Democrats claim he is we would be hearing about it from people who’ve worked with him during his legal career, but we haven’t. Also, if he was a sexual deviant in high school he’s not stopping that behavior as an adult.
