Trump Jr. to Feinstein: 'You understand Friday is after Thursday right?'

Donald Trump Jr. went after Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) Wednesday on Twitter, calling nonsensical her tweet decrying Friday's confirmation vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Feinstein attacked Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans on Tuesday for announcing Kavanaugh's confirmation vote before they heard from Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused him of sexual assault.

But Trump Jr. appeared to take exception to the idea that scheduling a vote precluded Ford's opportunity to testify.

"Senator, is the Chinese spy you employed for 20 years writing these tweets for you? They don’t make sense," Trump Jr. tweeted, writing that Kavanaugh's accuser "testifies Thursday and the Vote is Friday. You understand Friday is after Thursday right?"

"First Republicans demanded Dr. Blasey Ford testify immediately," Feinstein wrote. "Now they don't even need to hear her before they move head with a vote."

The committee is set to hear from Ford and Kavanaugh at a hearing Thursday.

Ford has said that Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and attempted to remove her clothes at a party in the summer of 1982.

Kavanaugh has unequivocally denied the allegation, but two other claims have emerged against him in the past four days.

Deborah Ramirez accused him of exposing himself to her at a college party in a report Sunday from The New Yorker.

And on Wednesday, Michael Avenatti, the attorney representing adult film star Stormy Daniels, revealed allegations from Julie Swetnick, who says she knew Kavanaugh in the early 1980s and accused him of helping instigate a "gang rape."

"I became the victim of one of these 'gang' or 'train' rapes where Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were present," Swetnick said.

The Judiciary Committee is reviewing Swetnick's allegations.

I do agree with you about his actions - I cringe when I think of his kids having to deal with this, and while they’ll never want for material things, you cannot buy happiness, a feeling of security, etc. Those kids are as vulnerable to their parents splitting up as anyone else.

That said, if this is his only time doing something like this, and he’s happily married in 14 or 18 years with his present kids fairly well-adjusted, this will hardly be a blip on the radar. Besides, who are the people in flyover country going to vote for, Chelsea Clinton or someone who is, for all intents and purposes, an ideological and moral clone?
