Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh called new allegations against him "ridiculous" on Wednesday. Julie Swetnick, a former student at a Maryland high school, alleged via lawyer Michael Avenatti that President Donald Trump's nominee was present while she was gang-raped by boys. "This is ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone," Kavanaugh said in a statement released by the White House. "I don't know who this is and this never happened."

IMHO, this is more Kafka than Serling.
Nothing mealy-mouthed about this guy, which is why I like him and why I'm fully confident that he will be confirmed in the end. Obviously this is all political. They front-loaded their attacks. They did not save the most credible for last. They saved the most outlandish and attention-grabbing for last. In other words, they're desperate. Desperation does not look good on them. Kavanaugh will be confirmed in the end, and the political backlash from this attack will be so severe against the dems.

I’ve been holding off on this whole sorry piece of Lawyer Cr*p, but now I’m beyond ticked off.
Accusations like this at the very last minute of the confirmation process need to not only be be disregarded. But the Crappy Lawyer and his so-called client need to face maximum penalties both financial as well as punitive to show that this sort of political ‘theater’ and reputation destroying behavior will NOT be tolerated.
