Naomi Osaka’s father is from Haiti.

Osaka’s sister Mari is a professional tennis player as well.

So does Caribbean black trump American black? Or does American black normally trump Caribbean black, but for the Japanese in the mix, which would normally trump American, but for her being an activist for “civil rights and stuff”? I’m considering how to be reincarnated, and this is getting complicated. Maybe if I also had some Native American blood, 1/32nd or so, that would give me an edge.

You omitted African black

American blacks were inferior to the African blacks that enslaved them. That fact is evident by the very fact they were unable to prevent enslavement

“It seems his humor is not far of the mark, with Serena a former slave, yet Osaka for her part was interned and then A-bombed, etc. “

That’s another weird thing I’ve been noticing for years. Serena has never been a slave. Her grandmother’s grandmother probably was, but that has nothing to do with her. Osaka was never interned. Maybe her grandparents were. And assuming arguendo that she was interned, she would have been better off in an internment camp than escaping and going to Hiroshima or Nagasaki and getting A-bombed, which she also never did. How is it that ancestral victimhood experience gets personalized like that.

We Jews say that we were slaves in Egypt, but to perform that intellectual triple somersault, we believe in reincarnation of souls that originally did go through the Exodus, and also sublimate Egyptian slavery into a spiritual state of being from which we get spiritually liberated every Passover. We don’t show up in modern-day Egypt demanding reparations or revenge or whatever.

So that’s why Obama got elected, but not Jesse Jackson!

Did you see how the media is fawning all over tiger woods win on Sunday? Funny thing about the media’s love affair with him is by his own admission he states he is NOT black. What a weird world we live in.

The media fawning over Tiger Woods is not just because he is (half) black. He is the greatest golfer of his generation. If you picked a handful of the greatest golfers in history, he is right there with them. And he accomplished most of it before he was 40. The idea that he may have gotten his game back is big news.

I don’t follow golf. I don’t follow tennis. Since I got nailed in a football pile-up at age nine, I lost all interest in sports involving smacking, throwing and kicking balls around, except sometimes soccer. The only thing that does interest me is the politics of political correctness. I know Tiger Wood because he’s in the news. He’s in the news because he’s part black. I bet he’s a good golfer. But I didn’t know he lost ‘his game’. So now he’s got it back. Woopdeedoo. What are the other ‘greatest golfers of all time’ doing lately? They’re not in the news because they’re not even part black, just golfers.

I suggest you take a couple of minutes of your time to at least read Tiger’s list of achievements in Wikipedia. He is one of the top two of three golfers of all time. He lost his game because he had to undergo spinal fusion surgery. Many thought he would never make it back. You don’t have to follow sports to know that he gets the attention he gets because everyone is excited that his story is apparently not over and that his achievements may continue. All those white people following Tiger on the golf course are not following him because he is (half) black.

I don’t doubt that he’s a great golfer. Or the two tennis contestants aren’t great tennis players. But that’s not what interests me, or the MSM. I share their interest, only because I habitually comment on their stupid obsessing on race.

In Tiger Wood’s case, it’s not entirely misplaced, because blacks used to be excluded from country clubs and golf courses. So to have a stellar golfer who is also non-white is man-bites dog. They just overdo it.

But as for Williams and Osaka, it’s not only ridiculous, it’s more than a little crazy, and contrary to the rules of good sportsmanship.
