It’s not Kavanaugh’s lawyer who is the problem for Ford. Grassley just informed Ford’s lawyers that the GOP members of the committee have retained a (female) sex crimes prosecutor to do the questioning. That’s probably the worst news Ford could have heard.

It's a pretty good bet that the Katz creature (Ford's mouthpiece) is gonna have a couple restless nights ahead of her.
