President Donald Trump will meet with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Thursday amid swirling reports that the No. 2 Justice Department official's departure is imminent.
"At the request of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, he and President Trump had an extended conversation to discuss the recent news stories," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement.
"Because the President is at the United Nations General Assembly and has a full schedule with leaders from around the world, they will meet on Thursday when the President returns to Washington, D.C."
Well, I guess that Thursday will be a rather busy news day.
Sheesh, the media sure screwed this story up. I suspect that ole Rod “leaked” a story to them as he probably suspected that Kelly would tell him to resign or get fired. But Rod’s “leak” didn’t work and the media screwed up his story.
If I was Trump I would have a witness with me at that meeting. If not, who knows what bogus “notes” of the meeting Rosenstein might send to the NYT.
Brace for a deluge of vanities with the correction.
Yep, they thought he would bite on Friday and then more fake news today.
Now if the GOP-e would just wake up, we could start putting some of these criminals in prison.
As long as the DOJ is the agency responsible for prosecutions, there won’t be any unless it gets a major housecleaning.

Will Rosenswine be wearing a wire?
If there is a deep state, Rosenstein should be worried about the optics. Retaining his job could look like Collusion....
Hmmm, I wonder if the meeting will be before, or after the scheduled vote on Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
Check him for a wire.
I would love to see a video of Trump firing Rosen stain in that way.
President Trump will wonder why Rosenslime keeps saying “please speak clearly into my suit jacket cuff.”
He’s not secretly recording me, is he?
