Rosenstein met with Kelly on Saturday and offered conditions to a proposed resignation.
Some of the conditions were unacceptable and Rosenstein refused to resign accordingly.
He is now on his way to the WH where he expects to be fired.
Here's something to remember, folks:
The Deputy AG post was never established by Congress. It was created by the Executive Branch itself through an internal DOJ memorandum in 1950.
The position doesn't even have to be filled.
The President can issue an executive order tomorrow that eliminates the position, or even changes its responsibilities so it only oversees the janitorial staff at DOJ headquarters.
With Trump in NY...maybe Rosenstein will be refused entry at the WH gate... or arrested for threatening the President............../snicker
Sounds very credible. But I would prefer that Trump not fire him but let the IG examine the evidence and fire him.
