Andy, don't overlook the fact that on the same May 16 when Rosenstein was talking about wearing a wire and invoking the 25th Amendment against President Trump and considering the appointment of a special counsel, something else was happening: Robert Mueller, private citizen, was interviewing with President Trump for the position of FBI Director.

Was Mueller wearing a wire? Had he already agreed with or contemplated accepting from Rosenstein the special counsel position which he did the next day?

Did Mueller conceal from President Trump during his interview the fact that he had agreed or had discussed acting as Special Counsel to investigate Trump?

18 U.S. Code § 1001 makes it unlawful for anyone to conceal a material fact in the course of any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive branch, which would include the process of interviewing for and selecting a new FBI Director by the president.

Did Mueller commit this felony on May 16, 2017 when he was interviewed by President Trump?

We need a second special counsel and legal process to preserve and obtain all communications among Rosenstein, Mueller, McCabe, Comey and others who participated in the plot to appoint a special counsel in an investigation with no legitimate basis in order to attempt to remove or undermine a president.

No, No a thousand times No to a second Special Counsel! It would be more wasting taxpayer money chasing unicorns. There is more than sufficient evidence, in the form of memos, testimony and signed documents, to issue warrants. Arrest the traitors NOW.

If you give Rosenstein the benefit of the doubt because the bad actors pushed him to appoint the SC, at some point he had to know he was scammed and became a witness. At that point he should have recused himself or shut down the SC.

Re: Mueller interviewing for FBI position - I heard it said that he was not interviewing for FBI Directorship because there is a law that says you cannot be Director but one time. The law was created b/o J. Edgar Hoover. I’ve also heard it said that Mueller and Trump spent hours talking that day.
