Whoa! Feinstein Finally Releases Christine Ford Letter — FONT DOES NOT MATCH UP!
GateWay Pundit ^ | 09/23/18 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 09/23/2018 6:23:27 PM PDT by Revel

Senate Judiciary Committee Minority Leader Dianne Feinstein finally released what she says is the original letter to her from Kavanaugh accuser Christine Ford.

The letter was first sent to the California Democrat in July. Feinstein or her staff leaked the letter to the press last week. On Sunday she finally released the letter to Majority leader Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA). Senate Judiciary Cmte. Chairman Grassley released the original letter that Christine Ford first sent to Senator Feinstein on Sunday night. The font in the second paragraph does not match with the rest of the letter.

Paul Sperry noticed the discrepancy when the letter was released.

BREAKING: In the original unreacted letter Feinstein finally gave to Grassley, the size of the font of first line of the second paragraph ("Brett Kavanaugh physically and sexually assaulted me during High School in the early 1980's") is strangely larger than the rest of the text

The only way to get a font size discrepancy is using “paste-special” where you paste as “text only” and the target processor’s default font makes the change, then you “save as” without checking the document for such errors. It does clearly indicate modifications apart from the original content document.

More likely an editing job where they tried to fit in some crap in the middle that needed to be cut out because of how insane and obviously wrong it was, and they didn’t match fonts...not often one screws up a simple missive with varying fonts....been using Word since it came out.

Yet another Dan Rather moment for leftists. Leftists lie, folks. Never believe them and never negotiate with them.

Cut and paste will do that.

Looks like a scanning or faxing error

Yes, that's exactly what it looks like. It's not uncommon for the feed rollers to slip a bit while feeding it through the scanner and letters get stretched.

Often happens when something from one html based email gets copy/pasted into another.

Or even more so if it was faxed.

I read that they (Feinstein office) is now saying it was actually written by the Congresswoman.

This story has more twists and turns than a Holton Arms party girl at a 1980’s keg party.

If the first sentence named Gorsuch instead, and the same typeface was used as the rest of the letter, the line length would have been shorter, more of an indent. I think it was doctored and to have it match up they would have had to pick a typeface, in this case a condensed one even, to get the line length to match up. I worked for 4 years at a typography house. All before desktop publishing.

Also, the blacked out letters at the bottom - I think are secretary’s initials, meaning it was a dictated letter and it’s blacked out now so no one can see who dictated and then typed it.

Given to you by the same people that offered up Obama’s birth certificate.

The larger font of 2nd paragraph is clearly visible.

Even so, you can have 87 different fonts in word, all at the same time.

If this was done in Word, I think there are reasons font could be different.

I’ve had font issues, but you would think an important letter would have Been reviewed thoroughly by the author.

typical sloppy progressive work.

This fits very well. Talk about a hard copy letter. Then “revise” it to fit the best scenario for the moment it needs to be released.

Documents are ethereal things in the hands of thieves, criminals, and RATs.

This person can’t even write coherently! What a horrible attempt at a professional letter from a “professor” with a PhD. I think this is the real letter she wrote: https://pastebin.com/WSzEVDe7
