That’s the thing...they (Republicans) don’t even have to launch a defense at this point.
The Democrats ALREADY checkmated themselves. They named witnesses who turned around and blew their story out of the water. They didn’t vet them, and then their own witnesses destroyed them.
It’s all over, the Democrats know it, they only hope to save a little face. They check-mated themselves and there’s no way out of it.
No Gop Senator has called these request outrageous and read the riot act ?.
No one has demanded the letter or else .
