Fly where ? I am curious. The best surfing in the continental United States is right where she lives (Mavericks). Other destinations are a short drive south along the CA coast. That leaves Hawaii. Since she doesn’t fly I am assuming she goes there by cruise ship(a week to go and another to return), which shouldn’t be a problem for a full-time professor as they are on vacation half the year.

I think Carrie Fisher played a better role in the Blues Brothers than being Princess Leia. That was such a great movie. My father told me he heard on the news that she would regularly fly to go surfing as she’s a huge surfing fanatic. Anyone else hear this? This would obviously directly contradict her claim that she’s afraid of flying.

Video conferencing has been polished and ready for business for at least 20 years. Polycom and Tanberg-Cisco (Tannberg) are two of the biggest players. There must be a dozen or more installation in the US Capitol building alone, and another dozen or two in the Rayburn building across the street. Of course every college and university in the USA has this capability too.

There are probably hundreds of these installed around DC itself. Hotels and conference centers are sure to have them, as well as every Federal agency, and corporate office building. Think of Skype but way more sophisticated. Driving across the US is RIDICULOUS. Anyone who doesn't see this is an outright fool.

Tucker Carlson named this Dem ploy last week. Grassley is too old and out of his league. He has been played like the old fool that he is. Shame on every "R" in the Senate for bending over and gleefully taking it in the poop shoot.
