All of the people on this thread who are calling BS on this poll are making a very serious mistake. What is important about this poll is that it shows a trend that is more likely to be correct. It shows that the Democrat strategy is working with considerable help from the Trump hating media. They have changed people’s minds, mostly people who are not paying attention and won’t pay attention, but are ready to buy the stuff that the Democrats and the media are selling. Don’t ignore this.
Four people are paying attention to this, and they don’t care what you think. Those four people are Senators Collins, Corker, Flake, and Murkowski. Their vote is much more important than this silly poll, but they are certainly paying attention to it and it may affect their votes.
I am convinced that Ford’s handlers know that they can’t put Ford under oath, subject to cross examination. But, since this delay strategy is working, why would they do so? The only way to stop it is to vote. The committee must vote on Monday in order to allow a full Senate vote by Friday, and then vote. If Ford is a no show, it will be very hard for the wobbly four to vote against Kavanaugh. If she testifies on Thursday, I think that the opinion of the people and the opinion of the Senate will change instantly.
The major players in this drama know more about Dr. Ford and her allegation than do we. That knowledge is why the Democrats won’t allow her to testify. Call their bluff and vote.
