DFL candidate Keith Ellison continued to deny allegations of domestic abuse Friday night, at times fending off questions from both moderators and opponent Doug Wardlow during the first post-primary debate for Minnesota attorney general hosted by TPT’s “Almanac” public affairs show.
Ellison, a six-term member of the U.S. House from Minneapolis, has been accused by former girlfriend Karen Monahan of domestic abuse. She has said he dragged her off a bed by her feet during a fight before they separated in 2016 and alleges years of emotional abuse. During the “Almanac” debate, Ellison said “it simply isn’t true.”

One thread asserted Monahan was exhibiting police reports naming Ellison.
How is he going to refute the paper trail?

There is another credible complaint against Ellison in 2005, I think it was. A woman went to the police and filed a charge against him. It is part of the public record.
Be aware that Ellison had a very credible opponent this time. It is Doug Wardlow. He is campaigning hard ever sine last summer, as a matter of fact. However, with the Twin Cities’ liberal news media it is difficult for Doug to get all the negative news abut Ellison in front of the outstate electorate.
Please consider donating to Doug Wardlow to help send Keith home packing for good. He wants to make our state a sanctuary state. Outstate Minnesota went for Trump by about 65% on the average for each county. But Trump was uniquely able to get his vision out to the people by going around the news media. Running against a man who has a famous name is a problem with some rural people not fully aware of Ellison’s radicalism.
Ellison is a protected species. Liberals must do everything possible to insure his survival.
Can’t go around indicting or accusing a member of the Muslim community, especially when he’s a member of congress, and more especially when he’s of the liberal variety.

What sort of BALDERDASH and FOLDEROL is this? Everybody knows the Constitution is a living, breathing thing malleable to the needs of the times. Everybody also knows the seriousness of the charges is what matters, not facts, not evidence, not due process, and certainly NOT the Sixth. What is the matter with this guy Ellison? He should quit now.

Hahahaha. I guess Ellison is screwed because the dem criteria for guilt in a sexual assault case is the woman is always to be believed. Not however if the male aggressor is a black muslim, particularly if he is a Dem running for office in which case the woman is to be presumed to have been the sexual aggressive against herself.

A nominee for the US Supreme Court who has to face accusations of sexual abuse 30-odd years after the event supposedly happened, the accuser can’t even remember basic facts in the case, and wishes to *demand* a customized appearance before the U.S. Senate Committee in question *after* the hearings have closed.
Oh, by the way, this Keith Ellison guy — he’s also a co-chair of the DNC.
Intellectually dishonest individuals and journalists with an utter lack of integrity, will slam the Supreme Court nominee and give the Minnesota DEM Attorney General candidate a pass.

It’s not outstate. it’s greatest Minnesota.. The liberal hives called major cities are the worst part of the state.
That said, those of us in greatest MN are well aware of the unlicensed lawyer that beats women..

meaning, he can’t even do the job until he does whatever needs to be done to renew it.
I wish the ex girlfriend would go ahead and come out with tape/video she’s supposed to have.
Doug has a great chance. I think Ellison’s baggage is too much even for MN. We all must help Doug out!
