Obama definitely deserves another peace prize for this
You can be sure Obama will find some way to give himself credit. I say ‘You didn’t build this!’.
Let’s just hope he leaves his army at home.
I was stationed there more than a generation ago. Even then we “joked” that we were there to keep the South Koreans from going North. Many people forget that a few divisions of the ROK Army fought with us in Vietnam and scared the crap out of the Viet Cong and NVA.
From my experience if you were a ROK trooper you
had better not be caught sleeping while on guard duty.
It was good to have those guys along side us.
“If true, this is a big deal.”
Absolutely agree.
I caught two of our ROK radio operators in a homosexual act while checking to see if they had any spot reports. Their sergeant major took them into a back room and beat them with a 2 X 4. Don’t know if he killed them but I never saw either one again.
I’ve always heard that the ROKs are several light years beyond ferocious. Absolutely first rate. On the other hand, the North has like a gazillion wild men to field, plus all that artillery overlooking Seoul, so any conflict would be hellacious.
North Korean defectors have said there really isn’t anything to eat. How do you fight a war with no food?
“There’s lots of food in the south - go get it!”
