I don't mind the delay, but good God am I sick of this whole thing. I'm tired of Dr. Ford holding the nation's Senate and judiciary hostage, like the country revolves around her.
What's to stop them from doing the same crap tomorrow too? "Oh, I couldn't get in touch with her, she wants to hear from a family member first, can we talk about this on Sunday?" When does this stop?
I will be so glad when Kavanaugh is confirmed or replaced with whoever and I don't have to hear about "Dr. Ford" ever again.
So Chuck...tell us what is going to change in the next 24 hours? When they reach the 11th hour tomorrow and ask for “just a little more time...pretty please...” What are you going to say?
Here’s something you could do...say “Because DiFi couldn’t be bothered to tell the committee about the letter, couldn’t be bothered to ask Judge Kavanaugh directly when she had the chance either in her office or during open hearings, couldn’t be bothered to SHOW UP during the closed session, AND since the Democrats didn’t seem to be SO CONCERNED about your plight to assist in the very preliminary investigation made by Committee staffers, AND since DiFi STILL hasn’t turned over the original letter so we can investigate your claim...too bad, so sad. Sounds like your beef is with the Senator from California.

The vote for was on (via the Senate website), but now it clearly says “postponed” there and Grassley’s official Twitter put this out.
