According to sources responding to The Daily Caller, Nellie Ohr and James Baker are refusing to willingly testify to the joint House Oversight and Judiciary committee chaired by Bob Goodlatte. Nellies husband Bruce Ohr, a current DOJ official, previously testified to the committee; however Nellie Ohr is not in government and may have to be subpoenaed if Chairman Goodlatte wants her testimony. She was originally schedule to appear tomorrow.
UPDATE The Committee continues to seek the testimony of Nellie Ohr and Jim Baker and will compel their testimony if necessary.
Nellie Ohr was a FusionGPS employee and a bridge of contact between FusionGPS and Christopher Steele. There are strong indications Nellie Ohr may have actually authored a considerable portion of the Steele Dossier for use by the FBI. In prior testimony FusionGPS founder, Glenn Simpson, was less than forthcoming about Nellie Ohrs engagements; and generally misled -direct and by omission- both the Senate and House intelligence committees about Mrs. Ohr.
Additionally, The Daily Caller is reporting that former FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker is also refusing to cooperate. Mr. Baker was removed from his position in December 2017, and left the FBI May 4th, 2018, after spending five months in employment limbo.

Manafort treatment for Nellie..
Solitary for collusion with other witnesses, her husband.
WHY would James Baker refuse to cooperate????
They're betting on the proposition that the House will change hands in November.
I can only imagine what would happen if Republicans who the Democrats wanted as witnesses dragged their feet like this.
“The Committee continues to seek the testimony of Nellie Ohr and Jim Baker and will compel their testimony if necessary.”
Well, let’s get on with the “compulsion!” I am getting f*cking tired of all the delays that the RINO crap we have for Republican “leadership” is giving these miscreants. Time IS of the essence! Long past time for the GOP to recognize that fact and act accordingly.
We need to order some testicle snap-on kits for the Republicans in Congress. You can find these kits in the catalog right next to the spine stiffeners.

“Initially this was voluntary compliance. They’ve refused so now the next step is issuing a subpeona compelling them to testify. It they refuse, then further action can be taken.”
That is what I meant. If they refuse to comply with a subpoena, lock them up.
Deep Stater, par excellence!

James Bakers law firm defended the Saudis against 9/11 claims.
Lol...different James Baker.
Ah, OK. I’ll have that one removed.
I was wondering how he got back in, LOL
I am amazed at how many are upset that some “witnesses” won’t appear before a spineless, toothless House sub-committee.
This isn’t where the action is.
Suppose, behind the scenes, they’re spilling their guts to keep their asses out of jail. Do you think those pursuing these two (and others) want to tip off any other bad actors as to what’s going on?
I’ll wait for the indictments......they’ll come.
Correct, although the “further action” is pretty wimpy. Being requested to testify is voluntary, defying a subpoena is still not a criminal offense, and is carried out through the legal system which provides many opportuities to delay and obfuscate. Congressional testimony is really pretty much a request rather than a demand.
Yes and fined to boot!
“Don’t let yourself expect too much from these two. Once compelled, they will plead the 5th.”
Fine! But let them do in in public. The People need to see first-hand, what colossal pieces of $hit these people are. By their non-answers, most people will understand who they are and what they attempted to do.
