Air Force leaders, like the leaders of the other military branches, are moving to quickly adapt the Trump administrations National Security Strategy, which calls for a military-wide reorientation away from low-intensity conflicts like those in Iraq and Afghanistan to refocus on fighting major wars against great power near-peer competitors.
Its important to note that other great powers such as Russia and China, along with regional powers like North Korea and Iran, have been studying the U.S. way of war for decades, and as such, they have developed tactics and strategies designed to exploit what they see as operational weaknesses should war break out.

Here's their uniform.
There are not going to be any more major wars due to the great powers having nukes. There will only be these pathetic, useless proxy wars, such as the ones now in the Middle East. The US has no business participating in these conflicts, and it is a horrible waste of our people and money.
Etiquette note: Chief Master Sergeants are referred to, and addressed, as “Chief”.
