Is there any shred of evidence to support this number? I didn’t think so.

Nearly 329 million American lives were spared during last week’s hurricane because of Trump’s careful planning and decisive action. Give the man some credit!

Only if they thank him for saving the hundreds of thousands who fled here and surely would have died.

anything but the real story of the moment:

great editorial:

19 Sept: Investors Business Daily Editorial: Yes, The Deep State Is Real — And Working To Undermine Our Nation
Indeed, not only does the Deep State exist, it’s far more dangerous to Americans’ liberties than first thought...
Given their routine and incredibly casual treatment of past actual secrets, it’s hard to take the Democrats seriously at all when they express concern about classified information being made public.
Sabotaging Trump
No, what they’re really worried about is that Nunes is right. There are highly questionable connections between officials in the Justice Department, FBI, CIA and Hillary Clinton campaign. They suggest that U.S. officials actively used their offices and taxpayer funds to sabotage Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. If so, it’s a criminal conspiracy. People should go to prison.

Yet, shockingly, while Trump ordered the “immediate declassification” of the materials, the Deep State has other ideas. Justice, the FBI and the National Intelligence director’s office are slow-walking the release. They plan to redact the documents, despite Trump’s lawful order.
That’s the Deep State in action...

Trump called the whole Russia investigation a “hoax” and said exposing it would be one of his “crowning achievements” as president. But it won’t be enough merely to expose it. Once exposed, we should punish those who participated in the collusion conspiracy as far as the law will allow. After all, it’s your democracy they’re destroying.

whereas this one covers for the Deep State:

19 Sept: WCBE/NPR: Justice, Spy World Veterans Warn Of Consequences If Trump Releases Secret Docs
By Carrie Johnson
Trump has ordered the release of communications involving people on his enemies list and sections of an application under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act — something that has never happened before.
“The release of FISAs like this is off the charts,” former Assistant Attorney General for National Security David Kris wrote about the secret orders.
“It is especially unprecedented considering that the FISAs have already gone through declassification review and the president is overruling the judgments of his subordinates to require expanded disclosure.”...

(excerpts)
ARI SHAPIRO, HOST: How unusual is it for these kinds of materials to be declassified in full by a president like this?
CARRIE JOHNSON: It is very unusual, some people say unprecedented...
DAVID LAUFMAN: For decades, the Justice Department has litigated aggressively and successfully in national security cases to prevent the disclosure of FISA applications. This happens routinely in prosecutions of terrorism, espionage and a host of other national security-related cases.
CARRIE JOHNSON: Now David Laufman says the president’s directive could put that winning record in jeopardy if a judge decides he or she doesn’t buy the government’s need for secrecy in a bunch of important national security, terrorism and spy cases...

He did accept the death toll, which was around 16 dead as a direct result of the storm

I am guessing that a large portion of votes going to Democrats are fake votes. It took Trump to expose the insanity and willingness to break all laws to obtain what they desire.

Now I understand the strong effort by the democratic communists to block voter ID. I would not be surprised I’d over 50% of Democrat votes are fake, and have been for decades.

Brain dead democraps....

When the president was in Puerto Rico after the hurricane, he was told 16 people had died in the storm.

3,000 people? Why should he apologize for a nonsensical number of fake deaths? The RATS have nothing.

It was about 60 people.

End of story.

Democrats, since you care so much for Puerto Rico, go on down there and lead out.

They need the help and you have all the Leftist answers.

Just do it. Go!

You could apply the same model on a small town in Missouri with 125 residents and suggest that in 2017....135 residents passed away or died. In theory (note), this should mean that the town should now not exist.

From the same article:

“Instead, Garamendi suggested that he and other House lawmakers march over to the Senate because Kavanaugh’s nomination was a “defining moment in the #MeToo movement.”

I want to watch that. I hope the turtle has enough sense to order the Sergeant-at-Arms to physically restrain these loonies (with tasers and zip ties!!!).

The revised figure, which encompasses all Maria (Category 4) related fatalities during the six months following the September 2017 storm, is more than 46 times higher than the previous official estimate of 64 and more than twice as high as the government’s later, unofficial estimate of 1,400. For comparison’s sake, Hurricane Katrina (Category 5), a far costlier storm in terms of property damage — caused 1,833 deaths. Snopes.com
