Justice Dept Plans To Redact Russia Docs Despite Trump Order For Full Declassification
The Hill ^ | September 19, 2018

The Department of Justice (DOJ), FBI and Office of the Director of National Intelligence are reportedly expected to propose redactions to a series of documents related to the Russia investigation that President Trump ordered to be declassified this week.

Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday that the agencies are currently doing a methodical review of the documents. There is no official timeline on when their evaluation of the sensitive documents will be finished.

But the news outlet, citing sources familiar with the process, noted that the FBI and the DOJ plan on submitting their proposed redactions to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

The office is expected to then assemble the material and turn it over to the White House, Bloomberg reported.

What’s funny about this is that charges are going to be filed anyway, whether they release the docs or not. When the charges are filed, the entire thing is going to a military tribunal, who will rule on release.

They’ll release, using Obama’s EO as their legal basis.

This ‘feud’ between Sessions and Trump is kabuki. It’s the foundation 45 needs to throw this to the military, and turn the prosecution over to a tribunal.

When the docs come out, it will be tough to argue with the call, Sessions will ‘cave’ and as the other indictments unseal, the prosecutorial work will be split by the military and criminal courts.

Treason cases to the military, breaches and conspiracy to the criminal courts.

[No he should upload them to internet and tweet the URL to the the world]

Let’s go with both. Both are excellent ideas.

1) Unredacted copies to Tom Fitton, immediately
2) Uploaded and a tweeted URL

Let the chips fall where they may. Liberal heads will explode in all places.

President Trump should have had all related docs. on his person before declassification. Now he will have a fight on his hands.

Not surprised. According them, they get to decide what the public can see, not the President.

If these documents are released with redactions, Trump should begin the firings..plain and simple. Starting with Sessions.

Nothing can stop President Trump.

If this is true, why haven’t we gotten the documents?

"...FBI, DOJ, and DNI are vetting everything to be sure they’re not implicated in anything illegal...

I think people are underestimating the impact of this aspect. It has been said by reliable sources that there was a lot of "after hours" communication between many of the people involved in this scandal up to and (yes...including) Barack Obama that has had an impact on investigations.

Just using Hillary Clinton's undeniable, completely documented, and totally illegal use of an unauthorized email system to transmit classified data.

It is undeniable that she is guilty and knew exactly what she was doing, I believe for two reasons: Most importantly, she was doing it to bypass FOIA requests that could shed light on her Clinton Foundation "crime syndicate" (my characterization) and Uranium One dealings, and secondly: abject laziness (observing security requirements is for little people and is often very inconvenient). She knew, because she suggested to people that they manually remove specific classification wording in various emails so it wouldn't be flagged and attract attention.

Unfortunately, she so richly deserves to be in jail, but she won't.

And there is conclusive evidence that Barack Obama knowingly communicated with her on that illegal server under an alias. That is fact, but he won't be punished either. For anything.

And Dan Bongino has it on good authority (and I have grown to trust him) that in these "after hours" communications described above, there might be that same kind of illegality on the part of DOJ and FBI officials...using unsecure systems to bypass security, auditing and logging.

He is musing that...it might be Comey himself. And it makes sense. As it came to light...how could he do an investigation on Hillary Clinton if it might be proven that he had done the same thing? But their hand was forced back into an investigation.

And that is just the email. I suspect that this entire debacle is painted with the fingerprints of various people involved. For example: Look at Andrew Weissman on Mueller's team. He was privy to the communications between Ohr and Steele while he was at the DOJ. He is clearly involved with illegal behavior, and this alone should have been enough to shut Mueller down (A HREF=https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/09/weissman_fake_dossier_knowledge_should_shut_mueller_down.html>(See this article at The American Thinker: Weissman Fake Dossier Knowledge Should Shut Mueller Down) since he clearly is in a position to investigate his own illegal activity. It is astonishing that has not been done.

The point is, there are so many conflicts of interests and people who may be involved that this entire thing is a sham.

I wonder if it will finally confirm what is known about other governments doing the spying on US citizens within the US?

That might even get the left upset..:^)

President Trump’s order was clear. All employees who attempt to circumvent or delay this order should be fired for cause.

^^^^ THIS!

Thank you. I was wondering just who would be enforcing POTUS Trump's order, should the need arise. It's US Marshalls 👍

They are in a state of rebellion and insurrection. It is way past time to take action. A company of Marines needs to be sent to seize DOJ HQ and immediately -neutralize- anyone who offers the slightest resistance.
Everyone else should be arrested and all documents safeguarded by some USMC Lance coolie with a rifle under orders to let NOBODY in.

Then we can begin to sort through this.

How many pages in total to be released? Like 30-40 IIRC.
Acceptable redactions would be methods of intelligence gathering. Not much else.

So if I had these pages at 9 am I could be done with them by noon.. After lunch I hand them over to someone else to double check my work and my proposed redactions.

Day2) supervisor checks redactions and sends them over to WH. WH ok’s them and they are released by day 3..

Anything more than 3 days is political which of course we all expect this to drag on for a month or more.

And here’s the point we need to be demanding accountability from our representatives. Demanding man end to the fisa courts, all the illegal intelligence gathering, ect..

“PDJT should order clean, unredacted copies be placed in his hands immediately”

Not sure when but he will get the clean documents with PROPOSED redactions.
