My paternal grandparents immigrated from Warsaw, Poland, in 1913. My grandfather arrived in Galveston, Texas, in 1913 and it took eight years to get my grandmother and their children out of Poland because WWI started. Had they not left, they would have been hauled off by Hitler and put in one of the camps and exterminated. My father and his older sister were born in Texas a couple of years after my grandmother came to the USA.
My grandparents were very proud Americans. At the beginning of WWII, my grandfather bought the first war bonds in his town.
I would be so proud to know that there is a military base in Poland named for our awesome President Trump!!

The Poles are great people... Had many friends who came from Poland growing up...now, Fort Trump would be great...
I am all for it. Germany is no longer the front line against the Russians.
Strategically Poland has a big beautiful port and massive quantities of great training land

I understand your point of view, but putting on a soldier’s hat, and knowing how incredible Polish women are, I just think it’d be heavenly for our troops.

Same her - except it was my paternal grandparents that came from Poland..Grandfather died before I was born but Grandma spoke enough the dad and his brothers and sister had a fair smattering.
We are kindred spirits.
BTW, I always root for Agna Radwanska(polish tennis player).

Same here - never was embarrassed about it - in the ‘60s and ‘70s, I knew all the jokes...
